FAQ

Q: Do your products contain lead?
A: Yes. I use solder that contains lead. These products are safe for handling, but please wash your hands thoroughly after handling and before eating or drinking. Please do not allow children to play with these items as they are made of glass and with solder that contains lead. Lead is a health issue when inhaled or ingested. Washing your hands after handling it is considered sufficient precautions to prevent unwanted exposure.

Q: Do you take commissions?
A: No. Commissions are closed at this time.

Q: Do you do custom orders?
A: Yes. I can do a custom order of any product currently or previously listed in the colors of your choosing. Custom orders will require a 50% non-refundable deposit.

Q: How much is shipping?
A: Shipping costs are included in the price of the item.

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes! I can ship internationally with USPS First Class Package. Not all countries are available, but most are. Shipping is calculated at the rates on the USPS website. Buyer is responsible for any costs related to fees or customs.

Q: How do I hang a suncatcher?
A: It is completely up to you. I would use a nail in the wall, but I know that it not always possible. I do not recommend using suction cup hooks. These fall off windows very easily.

Q: Can I hang these outside?
A: Yes, at your own risk. I do not recommend it.

Q: My product arrived broken, what do I do?
A: All packages are insured. In order for me to submit a claim and issue you a refund, I will need pictures of the shipping box, pictures of the packing materials, and pictures of the broken item. Please contact me directly to begin this process.

Q: Why are your prices high?
A: Iā€™d like to be somewhat transparent here. First, its artwork, and as an artist I want to be paid for my time. Second, the materials are not cheap. Solder alone jumped over $10 per pound in a 6 month time frame. What used to be $15/pound is now $25. Quality glass (available at local shops, not Hobby Lobby) is more expensive as well, usually around $18-$20 per square foot.

Q: Do you actually use real flowers in your pieces?
A: Yes! The flowers are real. I purchase them pre-pressed.

Q: Will the flower colors fade?
A: Unfortunately, yes. I use clear photo class that offers some UV protection, however fading over time is inevitable. Hanging in direct sunlight will speed up the timing on fade.
